PNG or JPG?

When you are saving your graphics, do you save static designs in PNG or JPG format? JPG format can usually result in a lower resolution, with a lower file size. While on the otherhand, if you save your graphic design in PNG, you can expect a high file size with a higher resolution. I'd always save it in PNG but I'm mindful that some websites have "upload limits".

I will generally always save as a png but there's no actual reason for it. It's just something I've always done.

I used to save my graphics in JPG format but I later found out that can affect the quality of the graphics and is not good practice at all.

I now save all my graphics in PNG format as I know that is the better option to keep the quality of your graphics.
